Post Processing

Hi All,

I have just started to test cfdemIBSolver test case i.e twoSphereGlowinski. When I visualize in paraview CFD and DEM field do not move together.

I have checked the time step of both and coupling rate but do find anything wrong. How do I see correct visualization of both together? Or anything that I am missing?

I'm new to LIGGGHTS and Paraview and still stumbling around trying to work things out.
I have managed to get velocity and particle streaming to display, yay.

However I'm trying to get a range of DEM particle results filters to work, but no success so far.

I would like to have the plot of # particles versus time after the end of the simulation. Do you suggest to use pizza.py file from LAMMPS or paraview with programmableFilter?

Any other comments and help would be highly appreciated.

This just started happening to my simulation recently and I cannot figure why. I will run a .vtk file in Paraview and it is clear the time frames are out of order. When I expand, the .vtk file in the menu it is evident that the numbering sequence is wrong (lpp_1). At first I thought I must be getting sloppy and doing one of the following things even though I know better : running additional simulations with the same name in a populated folder or using * too liberally when I use the lpp command, like if I type lpp t* but I have files named two and twelve.

Hi everyone,

I am really a beginner in LIGGGHTS. Right now I am working to simulate the filling of a cube/block with different types of aggregate. My problem is that I want to do the simulation by showing the different type of the aggregate, which I can't do because when I chose the display into type Paraview only shows me 1 type of the aggregate. I uploaded here a screenshot of the simulation for a better understanding.

i applied DPMFoam to run the case of Goldschmidt, however everytime i finish the calculation and want to post process the case with paraview, an error appears:
