Hallo,
I am doing a coupled CFDEM simulation with gas and particle flow. However I have the problem, that after the insertion of about 1000 particles my simulation significantly slows down. What can be the origin of this effect and how might this be prevented?

Recently I am planing to install CFDEM in my college cluster, the system for which is Redhat 7.3. However, I am not familiar with such a system and don't know where to start my installation. Have anyone ever installed CFDEM in Redhat successfully? Do you have any guide about installation in Redhat? It wiil be of great help if anyone can help me, many thanks.

I want to investigate a problem about soil particles movement. First, in LIGGGHTS, I applied six stl. mesh wall to exert confining pressure on a cube specimen of soil particles. Then I applied CFDEM to scour the soil particles and see whether the particles can be removed under the effect of seepage flow.

I'm new to CFDEM and I'm trying to run a simulation of a turbulent flow on a pipe with particles inside. However, when I ran the LIGGGHTS script it didn't insert the particles at all. Does anyone have any idea of why is this happening?

I am working on a coupled cfd-dem model and I need to add the hydrostatic pressure of fluid to stl walls in dem side,

I am simulating a fluidized bed column using CFDEM. Few months ago I was solving the problem with the solverIB, using a cylindrical block structured mesh. When I tried to change the solver (to solverPiso), I started having problems to use the same mesh I was using before. The solverPiso works fine when I construct a square-base column. But when I try to use the cylindrical mesh, the solverPiso presents problems. I already double checked the mesh, and since I was already using it to solve the case with the solverIB, I don't think it is bad constructed.
