Hi,
Why I can not dump correctly the stresses on moving mesh? How frequent should I dump? Can I dump like this frequency :
dump dump all mesh/gran/VTK 1 dump*.vtk stress cad2
Thanks in advance,
Ram

What do you mean by that?

Sure

Hi, I mean that i can not
Hi,
I mean that i can not find change in stress profile when i move the mesh(CAD).
fix cad all mesh/gran/stressanalysis stl/int.stl . . .
...
fix movecad all move/mesh/gran linear 0.1 0.0 0.0 cad
....
dump int all mesh/gran/VTK 10 dump*.vtk stress cad
....
...
static mesh works fine....
Thanks,
Ram

Could you elaborate a bit
Could you elaborate a bit more on what you are simulating - otherwise it's impossible to say?

Hi, I have one spherical mesh
Hi,
I have one spherical mesh (wall) moving with constant velocity in the static granular bed. I want to calculate stresses on that mesh due to granular particles.
Thanks,
Ram

It depends on the flow regime
It depends on the flow regime if you see wall stresses when dumping ocasionally . Are there are long-lasting particle wall contacts in your simulation?
