Error in loading Mesh

Hi all,

I am new to this software. I am hoping to create a 100mm*100mm*100mm cube box with spheres inside the box and then applying confining pressure on all sides.

I have tried to import a mesh created from AutoCad (using other computer and copy back to my own computer) using the fix mesh/surface/stress/servo.
However, some errors are happened and the script is terminated.

Can anyone help with this? I have attached with my script. Many thanks.

Josh

It is not possible to do what you want (confining pressure on all walls) with your approach. Instead you want to have a fix mesh/surface/stress/servo for each wall (6 walls for the cube) and then set the servo properties according to the normals of these walls.

Hi Arno,
Thanks for your reply. So I don't have to import any meshes from CAD like those tutorial examples did to add confining pressure? Also, usually under what circumstances, it is required to import meshes from CAD. Thanks.

Josh

No you still want to do that, but instead of having only one mesh you need 6 meshes, one for each planar wall.

Is that any particular place or link I can look into it regarding to use CAD/AutoCAD to create the planar wall? Thanks.

Cheers,
