Hy @ all,
today I tried out a new Ligghts-simulation. There were no problems at the beginning of the simulation, but suddenly the following error message occured and the simulation stopped:

It would be nice, if somebody could help me and explain me what the error means and what I could do against it...
Thanks for your help,
sincerely Michael

This is not a very specific
This is not a very specific error, it typically means the simulation has diverged, e.g. it has blown due to some faulty setting.
It is also possible (yet unlikely) that this is a bug

Hy Christoph, I have tried
Hy Christoph,
I have tried the simulation 3 times and the error occurs (without changing the input files) each time at another step (Step: 25.000, 28.000 and the last time 500.000).
Therfore I don´t think that the problem is due to a divergence problem, but I´m not sure at all.
Cheers, Michael

Have you tried to set the
Have you tried to set the simulation boundary to "f f f". If that helps, it is a divergence problem...

The simulation boundary is
The simulation boundary is and was set to "f f f".
Until now one simulation run to the end without problems and also without any changes in the programm.

well, as DEM simulations are inherently stochastic there is some. If you want you can email me the script and as I find some time, I can have a quick look
