I want to investigate a problem about soil particles movement. First, in LIGGGHTS, I applied six stl. mesh wall to exert confining pressure on a cube specimen of soil particles. Then I applied CFDEM to scour the soil particles and see whether the particles can be removed under the effect of seepage flow.
Here is my question: I have to keep the stl. wall unmoved so as to maintain the pressure acting on soil particles, but I need some small particles to be moved under the effects of seepage force. The soil particles should be removed from the wall boundaries, what should I do if I want to realize such a function?
Briefly, how to exert an unmoved wall which can be penetrated by soil particles?
