Open Source and Beyond: Particle Simulation for Science and Industry

Particles and flow processes are everywhere  – in industry, the environment, and everyday life. Sugar, sand, ores, tablets, chemicals, biomass, detergents, plastics, crops, and fruits all need to be harvested, produced, processed, transported, and stored. Computational simulation of these particle and fluid flow processes is key to understanding, designing, and improving them.
