So this is not a technical query. I wanted to know how many people use LIGGGHTS for mining related work?
I have used LIGGGHTS for my MSc where I studied the efficiency of a new type of vibrating screen, noting that material handling is not my field of work, I am actually a structural engineer.
Yesterday I was having a chat with my colleague who uses DEM analysis (ROCKY) extensively for our design work. He was pretty much against the use of software which uses spheres or lumps spheres to make particles. I was just interested to know how well LIGGGHTS has been implemented in industry or is it mainly used for research?
