Hello,
After a LIGGGHTS calculation (of filling particles into a box) I'd like to calculate the void fraction. This should be done in a postprocessing step. (Later on I want to wiggle the box and look at the change of the void fraction.) In earlier versions of LIGGGHTS, CFDEM and openFOAM I used the files of the fillCylinder tutorial as a guideline but the fillCylinder tutorial does not work any more. I get:
--> FOAM FATAL ERROR: setCG() not executed correctly!
CFDEMcoupling version: cfdem-3.6.0
OF version: 3.0.x
Is there a way to get this tutorial running? (Other tutorials are ok.)
Or: How can I calculate the void fraction without a fully coupled simulation? (Only postprocessing.)
Cheers,
Christian

Update
I guess the problem is related to the
dataExchangeModel oneWayVTK;
in the couplingProperties-File.Cheers,

Hi Christian,
Hi Christian,
yes you are right, but that's not the only problem in this case. I'm working on it and I expect to have a solution rather soon.
Cheers,
Josef

Hi Christian,
Hi Christian,
the new version is available on github.
Have a look at https://github.com/CFDEMproject/CFDEMcoupling-PUBLIC/tree/3.6.1
