Hallo,
I would like to know if it is possible to visualise walls in paraview, which are implemented via "fix wall/gran/hooke/history".
For stl files, I dump the vtk files via dump mesh/vtk and open them in paraview, but this doesnt work for "normal" boundary walls (or does it?). Would be glad if someone may help me.
Kind regards
Philipp

Hi Philipp,
Hi Philipp,
at the moment, LIGGGHTS does not offer a capability to viz "primitive" walls. However, you can of course use a simple STL file to do the same with mesh walls and viz it in paraview

Hi Philipp,
From my experience, all the 'primitive' wall shapes from wall/gran/hooke/history can be easily implemented in paraview . The straightforward way is to create a number of Sources (cylinders, planes, etc.) - with equal dimensions for each wall from simulation, Sources then can be visualized on the same layout as simulation results.
