I have downloaded the file "CFDEMworkbenchSTARTER_v2.2.0.exe" and trying to install it on my laptop. But when I double-click on the program, I find that the installation program cannot start. Just silence, with no response.
My attempts including:
1.Try the installation on another computer, with the same system of Windows 10 Professional Edition
2.Set to run as administrator and set compatibility mode (windows 7 and windows 8)
3.Close anti-virus software and firewall
4.The installation path does not have any special characters
Still, no response. I cannot see the "Welcome to CFDEM STARTER installation!" dialog box.
I don't know how to solve it. Please help me. I need your suggestion, THANK YOU !

sorry i for the late reply. To be honest, this is a behaviour that has never been reported to us so far. My guess would have been antivir, but since you already switched it off this cannot be the problem.
I also guess you know/checked the permissions of your account and can exclude that this is a Windows configuration issue.
Could you please go to the installation path and check, if anything was created there? You should find a DCS-Computing folder, which contains a Starter folder, which contains the folder of your installed version. If there is something there, can you please have a look if you find any log files? Perhaps also in a folder called CFDEMworkbenchInstallation/logs? If there is something, please post the content here and we'll try to help.
