Superquadric

I am trying to simulate the superquadric particles but after few time steps the code stops and a following error pops up.
ERROR on proc 0: Using default surface model for non-spherical particles! (../surface_model_default.h:144)

the model I am using is pair_style gran model hertz tangential history surface superquadric.

Does anyone have the same problem or knows the cause of the error?

It is worth noting that I came across drift hunters information in the documentation stating that it is mostly used in the Hookean contact model. However, it is also extensively used in many scripts that do not include the Hook's contact model at all.

The error message you encountered, "Using default surface model for non-spherical particles!" geometry dash, suggests that the LAMMPS simulation is attempting to apply a surface model that is not properly set up for superquadric particles.
