Dear all,
Is it possible to install two versions of LIGGGHTS on Linux?
Or it is better to delete the old version?
Thank you for replying.

You can definitely have two
You can definitely have two versions of the source code on one computer, and you can compile as many executables from the source code as you want, with different packages included.

context
Currently I have 2 codes that I use for my research and have ~5 test benches that look at different physics.
Just make sure to name your compiled programs something meaningful and not bond_damp_test_1, bond_damp_test_2, bond_damp_test_3....
definitely not speaking from experience on that one...
