Hey there,
I have to calculate the porosity (or the packing density) of the atoms in a simulation.
Does anyone know how to do that?
Thanks,
Best regards

thanks,
thanks,
so if i import this filter to my simulation in paraview, will i be able to calculate the empty space in a packing in a spesific region of my domain?

Yes, to get porosity in a
Yes, to get porosity in a specific region you need first to clip the result data (clip->type box or use two clip planes) and than attach the filter to the clip.
