I'd like to see particles as a kind of "grid" (see the picture I attached).
Do I have to set some group to make this?

Hi Andrea,
I would have used particle type to create the black and the white spheres. To identify the particle with the type 0 or type 1, before to load the file sphere positions into LIGGGHTS, I would have post-treated my sphere packing with Matlab. It is an idea, certainly not the best.
