Multispheres going wild

Hello everyone,

i used normal spheres until recently and the simulations went fine.
Now i have to study the effect of different particle shapes in my Simulation so i set up my Simulation for multispheres. Now when i run my simulation the Particles after quite some time in the run are doing crazy things like suddenly "exploding" and worst of all clipping through the container where they are supposed to get shuffled around.

So basically the stuff you see when the time step is too large to catch the particle interaction correctly.

I ran several Simulations now each with increasing sizes of each sphere as part of my multispheres. The smallest sphere is now about 50% larger than the smallest particle from my previous simulations and the time step is 12% of the rayleigh time.

The spheres in my multisphere files are also overlapping to recreate the particle shapes, might that be a problem?

Do i have to modify my time step when using multispheres or might there be another problem?

Hello,
that was my thinking as well so i'm really confused why itś happening.

As an example in a tilting motion of my container from one frame to the next several particles get thrown out of the bulk. Later on in the simulation a particle is leaving my container.
