Is this a installation problem?

Dear all,

I installed CFD-DEM. After Compiling LIGGGHTS and CFDEM coupling, it gave:
"Note: the list of utilities compiled might be incomplete.
please check /nishome/fengxian/CFDEM/CFDEMcoupling-PUBLIC-2.1.x/applications/utilities for more utilities available"

Is this a problem?

Thanks and Regards.

Fengxian

Hello Fengxian,
no, this is no problem! The message is just meant to remind you that any solvers etc, you might have written yourself at some earlier point in time, were not compiled with the routine. The message does not refer to the standard solvers and utilities that come with the software.
Cheers,
Alice

Hello Alice,
thank you very much for your reply.
After I failed to run CFDEM simulation, I found that errors are reported before the NOTE I posted.
The errors are similar to those in this link http://www.cfdem.com/forums/cfdem-compliling-error-0
I searched on the forum and did not find reasonable solutions.
Now I am trying to install OpenFoam2.2.1 instead of OpenFoam2.2.x. But it is really time consuming to compile OpenFoam. Do you think it can work this way? Could you give me any further suggestions?
Thank you.

Hello Alice,
I installed OpenFoam 2.2.1 and the latest version of Liggghts and CFDEMcoupling. The errors disappeared.
Problem has been solved.
After I installed octave, I ran the test tutorial case, it worked fine.
Thank you again.
Cheers,
Fengxian
