When your computer freezes by
When your computer freezes by compiling Liggghts only it will not be suitable to run a DEM or a coupled CFDEM simulation.
What Hardware do you use ?

Good morning,
well it seems as if the simulation never actually run, as 0.001 is the first time step, I suppose. Are you sure that the compilation worked out? You get the error message "*** file not found" when the routine tries to post-process non-existent data.
Your modification of the .bashrc is correct.
