when I run the liggghts, I can use insert/pack or insert/stream to insert particles continously. But when I run the cfdem case, it dose not work.
I don't kown the reason. I think it's because the coupling interval.
Thanks for any opion about insert particles contiously.
Thanks,
Zhao

ins all insert/pack should work
I had the same problems using insert/stream.
Now that I switched to insert/pack, it seems to work.
Do you get an error message?
Kind regards,
Jakob

Hi Zhao,
Hi Zhao,
the coupling interval has no influence on the particle insertion. What exactly is the error, or the problem?
Can you post an error message?
Cheers

INSERT PARTICLES CONTINOUSLY
Hello everyone,
I am updating the question about the particle insertion continously.
I tried to use insert/stream by indicating isert_every ie (ie = 1000), but it works as insert_every = once and I don't have more particles.
I use the following command with insert/stream
fix ins nve_group insert/stream seed 123457 distributiontemplate pdd1 &
nparticles INF particlerate 2000 insert_every 1000 overlapcheck yes vel constant 0.0 0.0 2.0 &
insertion_face bottom
Any idea, where did I do mistake? Do you have any suggestions ?
Thank you !
