I am looking for some directions about how to increase the
number of particles in the tutorials and how to setup a
case for running with 16 physical computer nodes.
Any clue is very welcome.

P.S. Is there a old case with liquid fluidized bed using "file coupling" ?

Nr of particles is increased in the liggghts input script.
nr of procs is set in decomposeParDict and liggghts input script.
why do you want to use file coupling instead of MPI coupling?
A fluidiseb bed case can be derived from the Ergun testcase.
