Implementation of mechanical loads and temperatures

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

is it possible to implement a mechanical load on my particle sample?

I plan to position my particles in a form. After that I want to compact the particles between two punches with a predescibed pressure, as shown in the picture.
Is there a command to assign the load on the surface of the punches?
As far as i know it is only possible to simulation elastic deformations. Is this correct?
Apart from that I would like to know, how to predescribe time dependent temepratures and model the influnece on the thermal expansion and the mechanical behaviour of my particles.
