Good morning,
I am trying to simulate the flow that is produced by Formula 1, and its interaction with particles that lays on the asphalt. Could anyone help me? Do you know if I could calculate it with this programm?

Hi Aharon,
sounds like a nice application for cfdem!
I'd suggest the following procedure:
-try to correctly model the flow around the formula1 car
-try to get familiar with LIGGGHTS and (injecting the desired particles lying on the asphalt)
-think about a moving wall and particles lying on that wall (I guess you will have a fixed car and moving street, like in a wind tunnel)
-combine CFD and DEM simulation
-make sure that cell size is bigger than particle size (stability issue).
Cheers,
Chris
