I am a new user to CFDEM and as such I do not have any experience with rpogram. I get this error when I run the ErgunTestMPI tutorial. I know it says that the file is missing but I have no idea how to solve it.

Hi!
Hi!
the error stems from the fact that OF 2.2.x writes the probes to different directories than previous versions.
Cheers,
Chris

I am becoming crazy !!
Chris, could you please give us a detailed step-by-step about how to solve this problem? I am new in using Linux and the only reason I am trying to learn CFDEMcoupling is because os my research in university, but the installation of CFDEMcoupling is becoming a nightmare for me.
Thanks !

Hi Antonio,
Hi Antonio,
what exactly is the problem?
But here is the installation in a nutshell:
Download OpenFOAM-2.3.x CFDEMCoupling and LIGGGHTS via git clone.
Copy commit-hash from CFDEMCoupling-PUBLIC-2.3.x/src/lagrangian/cfdemParticle/cfdTools/versionInfo.H
(word OF-verison="2.3.x-commit-";)
Goto OpenFOAMFolder 2.3.x
Run "git checkout "
Compile OF as in their git installation instructions.
Copy this to your .bashrc (in your $HOME folder)
#================================================#
#- source cfdem env vars
export CFDEM_VERSION=PUBLIC
export CFDEM_PROJECT_DIR=$HOME/CFDEM/CFDEMcoupling-$CFDEM_VERSION-$WM_PROJECT_VERSION
export CFDEM_SRC_DIR=$CFDEM_PROJECT_DIR/src
export CFDEM_SOLVER_DIR=$CFDEM_PROJECT_DIR/applications/solvers
export CFDEM_DOC_DIR=$CFDEM_PROJECT_DIR/doc
export CFDEM_UT_DIR=$CFDEM_PROJECT_DIR/applications/utilities
export CFDEM_TUT_DIR=$CFDEM_PROJECT_DIR/tutorials
export CFDEM_PROJECT_USER_DIR=$HOME/CFDEM/$LOGNAME-$CFDEM_VERSION-$WM_PROJECT_VERSION
export CFDEM_bashrc=$CFDEM_SRC_DIR/lagrangian/cfdemParticle/etc/bashrc
export CFDEM_LIGGGHTS_SRC_DIR=$HOME/LIGGGHTS/LIGGGHTS-PUBLIC/src
export CFDEM_LIGGGHTS_MAKEFILE_NAME=fedora_fpic
export CFDEM_LPP_DIR=$HOME/LIGGGHTS/mylpp/src
export CFDEM_PIZZA_DIR=$HOME/LIGGGHTS/PIZZA/gran_pizza_17Aug10/src
. $CFDEM_bashrc
#================================================#
Adjust the CFDEM_PROJECT_DIR and CFDEM_LIGGGHTS_SRC_DIR according to your locations.
Open a new terminal
run cfdemSysTest
check results
run cfdemCompCFDEMall
Cheers
Josef
