Error in CFDEM 3.7

Same kind of error

Hi all! I get a similar error message from the log file (looking for treatForceExplicit ... not found in dict, using default. treatForceExplicit = false
). I compared system/controlDict file in order to avoid syntax changes from different versions (the simulation was set up in another pc).

Hi Feder,

I've moved your post to a new post, since it had little in common with the original.

Do you need to use the older versions of the codes?
CFDEM 3.7 instead of 3.8
LIGGGHTS 3.7 instead of 3.8
( OF 3.0.x instead of 5.x )

In case you suggest to update to the newest version, can you recommend me a tutorial that explains step by step how to do it? (My previous experience in installing CFDEM was terrible).

I would recommend to update to the latest version.

Did you use this guidelines the during your last installation too?
