Does the coarse-grained model in current Liggghts exist or NOT?

I've had some questions about applying coarse-grain models in LIGGGHTS public version. I would like to put a self-defined coarse grain ratio into the formula in the code. When I checked the normal contact and force model in the code, I happened to notice that there are serval keywords related to the coarse-grained model, such as:
class Force : protected Pointers {
friend class Coarsegraining;

So I can't help thinking if the coarse-grained model had already been added into the code? If I am going to adjust the coarse-grained ratio, should I add something into the code in order to comply with the theory in the literature? I will appreciate if anyone could give me a little bit of advice about that. Thank you in advance.
