Hi Christoph,
We can assign the properties of mesh wall/sphere from atom_type value. Can we assign density of that mesh wall/sphere like this way?
....
create_box 2 reg
group sphere type 2
set group sphere density 2500
...
..
fix cad all mesh/gran/stressanalysis stl/sphere.stl 2 0.1 0 0 0 0. 0. 0.
...
...
Will it change the density of sphere.stl?
Thanks
Ram

Hi,
If I want to use mesh cad as intruder in the simulation. Because I need intruder with complex shape other than sphere.
Thanks...

and what do you need the density for? As for damping parameters etc for pairwise forces, meshes are assumed to have infinite mass

Hi Christoph,
I want to do segregation of complex intruder in granular shaking bed which has a defined density and mass. Can I modified the code to make it possible?
Thanks,
Ram

There is a 6dof feature in LIGGGHTS for these kind of things but there is not yet a date for public release.
