Dear all,
I am working on simulation of particle-fluid flow in the pipe.
To reduce the computational domain I use cyclic boundary condition for inlet and outlet of the pipe.
I get some strange results.
I think it is caused by the solver not giving the correct information at the inlet and the outlet.
When a particle flows across the outlet, a part of the particle is in the domain and another part of the particles is out of the domain.
The part of the particle outside the domain and the fluid at the inlet should affect each other.
However from my simulation results, it seems the part of particle out of the domain and the fluid at the inlet can not see each other.
Please let me know if any one has comments or suggestions on simulating cyclic flow using SolverIB.
