Can the shape of a particle be a non-sphere?

Hi,

I would hear if it is possible to simulate with particles that are non-spherical? At the moment I have only simulated with particles that are spheres. However, I wondered if it is possible to create cubes to simulate with?

Cheers,
Jeppe

Hello,
On the public release, the void ratio calculations only assume spheres are being used.

You can "trick" it into approximating a cube by using multispheres/bonds. But you cannot allow overlap in your mega-particles as
the void ratio doesn't take sphere overlap into account.

If you wish to use superquadratic particles, you will either need to purchase the proprietary copy or code your own void ratio model and force models.
