Hi!
I would like to create a BOND between particle and the face of an obstacle at the time of impact. what command I can use on LIGGGHTS?.
And, what are the "bond_type" commands can accept cfdem code?
Thanks~~~~~~~!!!

Hi boumediene,
Hi boumediene,
have a look at the LIGGGHTS doc for available bond styles.
However, there are no bonds between faces and particles at the moment, only particle-particle

No bond for granular package
Hi Christoph
thank you for your answer,
In fact, I tried with the command bond_style but cfdem code displays an error message.
knowing that I use the granular package coupled in CFDEM.
I looked in the manual I found only for colloid and other packages, but there isn't bond_type "granular ".
Thanks

granular is not in the
granular is not in the release yet, it's in beta/feasibility status. But you can use harmonic or the like if this is sufficient for your application

you can work-a-round this
you can work-a-round this when you create a region arround your obstacle with the deep of the largest radius of your particles, and set the velocity for all particles in this region to zero. The result will be that the particle which "touches" the wall are "glued" to it (it's totaly fake but work's very well for me).
