Hi!
Im using a contact model that does not include viscoelastic damping for normal contact (Thornton&Ning). I would like to be able to turn on contact damping. Is there some fix or way of adding viscoelastic contact damping or should I go into the code and implement it?

Hello
You could add a global damping viscous force, but nothing exists that simply adds damping to normal contact forces.

Thank you. I know about fix viscous, I was thinking about if it was possible to add contact damping as a separate contact model (similar to how adhesion between particles can be added and combined with different contact models)
