Hi,
I am new user to this CFDEM. Recently I downloaded and installed the LIGGGHTS and CFDEMcoupling packages as described in the installation manual.
I used "git clone http://github.com/CFDEMproject/LIGGGHTS-PUBLIC.git LIGGGHTS-PUBLIC" and "git clone http://github.com/CFDEMproject/CFDEMcoupling-PUBLIC.git CFDEMcoupling-PUBLIC-$WM_PROJECT_VERSION" instead of "git clone git://github.com/CFDEMproject/LIGGGHTS-PUBLIC.git LIGGGHTS-PUBLIC" "git clone git://github.com/CFDEMproject/CFDEMcoupling-PUBLIC.git CFDEMcoupling-PUBLIC-$WM_PROJECT_VERSION" due to some connection refusal.

Is this procedure fine??? Although every thing was downloaded.

But problem is that I am unable to execute the tutorial programs.

Can anyone help me to get out of from here please.

the question is not how you downloaded the two packages Ligghts-public and CFDEMcoupling-public, as you said that you have obtained the files but what you have done after before wanting to run the tutorial programs!

did you get errors during the compiling process for the two packages? have compiled also the openFOAM one?

Hi,

you need to make sure that the settings in the ~/.bashrc are matching your installation location.
You can (as described in the installation instructions) then use cfdemSysTest command to check if the paths are correct.

Kind regards,
Chris

First, thank u very much Mr. Oger and Mr. Cgoniva for your kind response.
But, main problem is I dont know, how to execute CFDEM program. can you tell me the commands for executing the CFDEM? And also, how I'll couple both OpenFoam and CFDEM together and execute? Please help me.
I have OPenFoam 2.2.2 and CFDEM.
