comp switch in CFDEM

Hello CFDEM Users,

I saw a "#define comp" switch in CFDEM new versions. I was wondering what was that for. I could guess seeing the Make/options that it is for compressible turbulence modeling. Any way tried to compile it and successfully done for CFDEM src. But It was not successful for the the compilation of Solvers. It complains that the singlePhaseTransportModel is not compatible. Have any body faced the same problems and what was the solution???

Hi,
I have a similar problem, I need to run CFDEM with a compressible solver. On release of CFDEMcoupling version 2.1.1 beta, I read: "modifications that allow a compilation for compressible solvers (set preComp. flag in cfdemCloud.H and use the options_comp file)".
I'd like to have more information, I don't understand how to use this feature.
Thanks.

hi,

ther is currently no compressible solver available, the basic functionality for the src is already there.

Cheers,
