Dear all,
recently i have run the fillCylinder tutorial within the CFDEM package.
I think there is something wrong with the synchronisation of timesteps of OpenFoam an Liggghts. As shown in the pictures, the calculated void-fraction always seems to be one or two timesteps behind the actual position of the spheres.
Anyone knows the reason for this?
I also think that it is the position of spheres that is wrong here because at time 0 they already have the position they should have at timestep 1 or 2.
I have nothing changed in the in.liggghts_init file, so it is the original version ;-)

I guess you are aware that this examplie is not solving things, but just visualizing.
I assume you visuylize the VTK data? There the numbering of CFD and DEM data and thus the visualization might be out of sync.
