Problem running CFDEM case (4-core and 8-core)

Hello, i have a problem when i run my own CFDEM case in a 8-core machine but i have no problems running the case in a 4-core machine. Both pc's has the same Ubuntu, LIGGGHTS, OpenFOAM and CFDEM versions. (I installed all the software in the same way).

Hi,

is the case working on the 8-core machine, when you only use 4 processes?
If it does, it sounds like debugging might be necessary.

Thanks for your answer! I'm running the case with the all the processors (8-core machine). I solved the problem by suppressing the interpolation for the viscForceProps (couplingProperties file). Now i have to find the effects that it have in my case (results).

Dear Julian Ruiz,
I think the problem is the way that you decompose the computational domain. Check you decomposeDict located in "CFD/constant/decomposeDict" and change the decomposing way, such as (2 2 2) to (4 2 1), it may be work.
