Dear users
I try to make the MultiscaleSolver which needs LIGGHTS-2.4.4 and OPENFOAM-2.1.1. I got MultiscaleSolver package from:
" http://www.thermalfluidscentral.org/e-resources/resource.php?id=258 "
And also the OpenFOAM-2.1.1 is installed in my machine.
In myCFDEM folder there is LIGHHHTs-2.4.4 and i try to install it by its guide but i receive some error affter using this commands:
“make fedora_fpic”
“make makelib”
errors::
grep: angle_*.h: No such file or directory
grep: dihedral_*.h: No such file or directory
grep: improper_*.h: No such file or directory
How can i solve this problem?
Should i just use Fedora machine to run it??

Hi,
the software versions you mention are really old (both OF and LIGGGHTS), and compatibility will not be given. Currently we support OpenFOAM 5.x and the LIGGGHTS version must match the CFDEM(R)coupling version. Older OpenFOAM versions like 3 might still be okay, but 2.1.1 differs too strongly for being compatible with the latest coupling, I am afraid.
