overlapcheck doesn't work

Hello,

if the particle sizes are too different the overlapcheck doesn't work and when the particles are inserted I get a big kinetic Energy and a negative contact area. For example if the particle diameters are 6µm and 1µm the overlapcheck method isn't called while the smaller particles are inserted, but if I insert 6µm and 3µm the method is called and I get no kinetic Energy. I attached my code and a picture showing that the small particles are inserted in the bigger particles.

Maybe someone has an idea what's the problem.

Regards,
Laura

Hi,

All of your settings look reasonable at first glance - I cannot see why this would fail.

A quick workaround would be to combine both particle templates into one particle distribution - this seems to work at least with the scenario I tested.
