I am new user of LIGGGHTS and I have to study the granular flow on inclined plane with walls .
1. For that should i design the mesh which is already at desired angel or it can be simple plane with walls and gravity with component in x y and z direction.
2. How to design the inclined plane and and used mesh/gran command
3. how to see the simulation animation with LIGGGHTS.
Please any one clarify my doubts.
Regards
pnkumar

both is possible, rotating gravity is easier bc. one can use wall/gran primitive zplane
2. How to design the inclined plane and and used mesh/gran command
use primitive or create in Paraview a Source->Plane, attach a filter->transform, set rotation you want and than save as vtk and than remesh with gmsh -2 -o plane.stl plane.vtk to a stl.
3. how to see the simulation animation with LIGGGHTS.
a) compile liggghts with VTK support and use dump custom/vtk, this files can be directly opened in paraview,
b) download paraview reader from github and use dump custom dump*.liggghts, add reader to manage plugins->load new ..
c) use lpp (search forum because I allway use option b)
To render spheres:
a) attach a filter glyph
b) load PointSprites Plugin and change representation to pointsprites after loading particle data.
maybe this helps: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B16_X8nrVquiR2ZIa0Ezbk96blU/view?usp=sh...

Complie Problem
When I am trying to use paraview to play the simulation it is showing this error

Use ParaView 4.3.1 with
Use ParaView 4.3.1 with opengl (1).

Can I get some help
Hello @pnkumar I am also trying to make an input file for liggghts. I also want to make an inclines plane surface with angle. Can I get some idea ? How did you set up in region?
