dump file as initial state

Hey,

I was wondering how i can use the last dump file of a simulation as an initial state for another simulation. Which commands do i need for the import and the rerun of them?

Thanks, i've tried using the write_restart and read_restart commands, as they seem to be what i was looking for. I also achieved to use them without getting an error but i got a problem. Even though it saves the last state of my simulation, the particals aren't in the same locations in the beginning of the 2nd simulation, where they've left of in the 1st one.
Is there something i'm missing and are there any example scripts that i can check?
