Hello,
I started to experiment wit the cfdemSolverPisoSTM.
At the DEM-part, I can find the lines
# species transfer
fix specCap all property/global speciesCCapacity peratomtype 1.0
fix cfd4 all couple/cfd/speciesConvection speciesName speciesC species0 1.0
But I don't understand what they do and how to adapt them, when I use more then one atom-typ.
Unfortunately, I did not find any informations regarding this solver in the documentation.
So, I hope some one can tell me, what is the big difference between the cfdemSolverPisoSTM and
the solver cfdemSolverPisoScalar.
I hope some one can help me.
Best regards

STM is Scalar Transport Model...
You can check the update of CFDEM in
http://www.cfdem.com/cfdemrcoupling-version-history
I don't know your simulation target, but it is recommend to use "cfdemsolverPiso" if the temperature of particle (of fluid) is not considered.
Thank you

Well,
Well,
this helps not at all.
Unfortunately, there is basically no documentation regarding the cfdemSolverPisoSTM.
I'm asking in general. What does the commands do, what does the solver do.
I hope there is someone who can give me some hints about it.
Best regards
RobertG

Regarding the target,
Regarding the target,
I want to consider the temperature and I want to consider the shrinking core DEM-particles.

Did you get to somewhere
Hi,
Could you find any help in the documentation for these lines? I am also struggling with this information. I want to model a fluidized bed dryer.
