I am trying to model drying of wet particles in fluidized bed dryer which involves water evaporation from particle surface. I think CFDEM coupling already has the capability of modeling evaporation from particle surface since it has phaseChangeModel.C and phaseChangeModel.H files written by Prof. Stefan Radl in the scalarTransportModelsCFDEM directory of the source code. However, I could not find any documentation regarding how to setup the case files (for CFD and DEM sides) to use this model. It will be great if someone can help me regarding how to setup the case files to use this phase change model in CFDEM. Thank you.
