About big particle void fraction

Dear CFDEM developer,

I am trying to use the GaussVoidFraction model in our study because the coarse particles we are using are bigger than the CFD cell, but I got the following error

Selecting voidFractionModel Gauss

Is the GaussvoidFractionModel working properly in the released v3.8.0 or is there any special requirements to use this model? We are considering LES/DNS-DEM, will try the unresolved approach first and move to resolved approach if necessary. Any suggestions on calculating the void fraction when the particle is bigger than the CFD cell? Thanks.

(Sorry that I post this similar question again here, I posted it before in the CFDEM user forum, but haven't got any reply, might find an answer here. Thanks)

Cheers
