fix mesh/surface/stress/servo command

Submitted by RocheDEM on Wed, 07/17/2013 - 16:49

Good morning,

I would like to make a model using the fix mesh/surface/stress/servo command. I was wondering if someone would be willing to share a little example simulation that includes this command?

Thank you in advance,\

Kirk Fraser

Kirk,

See the tutorial that I posted with an update on 7/14. Example #5 is a shear cell that includes the fix mesh/surface/stress/servo command.

Best regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,

I cannot seem to find your tutorial, should it be with the other examples typically found at .../liggghts/LIGGGHTS-PUBLIC/examples/LIGGGHTS/Tutorials_public?

If it is, I do not see it there.

Could you send me a link to the tutorial or simply attached the tutorial as a .zip?

Thank you,

Kirk

Kirk,

If you use the search box for forum topics and just search for the word 'tutorial', it should be the first hit. It was originally posted on 6/24 with an update on 7/15. Alternatively, you can track it via my name.

Christoph - could you add this tutorial to the section on the main site menu?

Best regards,
Chris
