Symmetric boundary condition

Hello everyone,

imagine a belt conveyor, where only one side along the longitudinal axis would have to be modelled.

Is there a way to model a symmetric boundary condition with LIGGGHTS?

Hi MiRa,

strictly spoken, this type of BC does not exist in DEM .

But what comes close is a frictionless wall (purely repulsive) along the longitudinal axis
