Hi Dear All,

In the following 2 models, the both of the Capillary force Equations are different from original equations in the cited articles, in a (-) factor . I want to know why the equations in liggghts are the symmetry of the articles equations? Is it correct?
Capillary force:

The capillary force is given by (Rabinovitch) as

Fcapillary = 2*pi*rEff*surfaceTension* (cos(contactAngleEff) / (1. + dist/(2.*dSpSp)) + sin(alpha)*sin(alpha+contactAngleEff))

Capillary force:

The capillary force is given by (Soulie) as:

Fcapillary = - pi*surfaceTension*sqrt(radi*radj)*(exp(A*dist/R2+B)+C)

Thanks,
Halimeh
