Error too many atoms sorting bins

Hi

I asm quite novel to LIGGGHTS and I created my first simulation. I only selected to create 500 particles with radius 10 mm.

I get this error when running the simulaiton : Error too many atoms sorting bins

Hi michele,

have a look in the manual, section 12: Most error messages are explained there. In your case the following explanation is given: "Too many atom sorting bins: This is likely due to an immense simulation box that has blown up to a large size."

Without any further information I can't give you any other hints.
